The Woman of the Year Awards 2025 celebrates outstanding women who have made significant contributions to their fields and communities. At the heart of this prestigious recognition is a dedicated Technical Jury, whose role is fundamental in ensuring the selection process is fair, transparent and rooted in merit. Establishing Clear Criteria One of the primary responsibilities of the jury is to define the selection criteria. These must be relevant, objective and aligned with the spirit of the awards. Key areas typically assessed include leadership, innovation, social impact and community service. By setting a robust framework, the jury ensures that every nominee is evaluated on equal footing. Rigorous Evaluation Process Once nominations are received – often in the form of video submissions – the jury carefully reviews each entry against the defined benchmarks. Using a structured assessment process, members independently score or rank candidates based on their achievements and influence. This method promotes consistency and objectivity across all categories. Upholding Confidentiality and Ethics Integrity is central to the jury’s role. Members are required to maintain strict confidentiality throughout the process and must declare any conflicts of interest, stepping aside if impartiality cannot be guaranteed. This ethical approach fosters trust in the legitimacy of the awards. Shortlisting and Recommendations After thorough assessment, the jury compiles a shortlist of finalists. Each recommendation is supported by detailed scoring and written justifications, ensuring accountability and transparency. Final selections are then submitted to the organising body, which may use these insights to determine the ultimate awardees. Contributing to Continuous Improvement Beyond their evaluative duties, the jury also plays a forward-looking role. By documenting the entire process and offering feedback, they help refine the system for future award cycles – ensuring the awards remain relevant, inclusive and impactful. Power, Precision and Performance Set against the vast backdrop of one of the world’s largest solar parks – spanning 127 square kilometres and featuring over two million solar panels – the campaign film features Mr. Guetta performing a specially produced Future Rave remix of his global hit Titanium. The 263-metre solar tower, the tallest of its kind, becomes an otherworldly DJ booth as the French icon spins his set amidst a flurry of choreographed laser beams and sleek Porsche models in motion. In the cinematic sequence, the new Macan Turbo and the Taycan Turbo GT take centre stage, speeding through the solar facility’s futuristic landscape. With this project, Porsche not only showcases the power and elegance of its latest electric models, but also underscores its commitment to innovation and sustainability in the region. A Collaboration of Icons Speaking about the partnership, Mr. Guetta says: “This collaboration is one of those things you dream of as a kid. Porsche has always stood for emotion, performance and pushing the limits – just like my music. Being part of this project has truly inspired me.” As one of the most influential electronic music artists of the past two decades, Mr. Guetta’s legacy of boundary-pushing creativity aligns seamlessly with Porsche’s reputation for engineering excellence and relentless progress. The campaign does more than entertain – it educates. Three behind-the-scenes episodes accompany the main film, offering a deeper look into the creative process, the technology behind the shoot, and Porsche’s evolving vision for electric mobility. In the heart of this movement stands Terra, Asian Paints’ latest Colour of Inspiration. A warm, earthy brown that’s equal parts grounded and graceful, Terra doesn’t just colour your walls – it colours your mood, your memories and your moments. Rooted in earth, memory and meaning, Terra is more than just a colour. It evokes a feeling, one that speaks of emotional grounding, nostalgia and familiarity. In a fast-moving world, Terra invites us to pause, to breathe and to connect with the spaces and stories around us. Its tone echoes the rich hues of ancient forts, sun-baked alleyways and the windswept textures of Middle Eastern heritage. You see it in the rust-red bricks of old souqs, in the shadows of palm-lined courtyards, and in the ever-present sandscapes that stretch across the region – timeless, enduring and quietly elegant. Terra is all around us – in the cinnamon we stir into our morning karak, the clay pots at our grandmother’s house, the sunlit leather of a wellworn journal, and the brown abayas that grace the streets with understated beauty. It lives in everyday moments. And it’s beautiful – Tara Terra – because it is Terra. As global design moves toward natural textures, raw materials and earth-based palettes, Terra emerges as a frontrunner. Interior designers and homeowners alike are leaning into tones that tell a story – and Terra does just that. It provides emotional grounding in a time of overstimulation. It offers warmth in minimalism. It serves as a perfect backdrop for both tradition and modernity. Imagine a living room wrapped in the embrace of Terra – paired with woven textures, soft lighting and accents of copper or cream. Or a study where the walls hum with the quiet strength of the colour, encouraging contemplation and creativity. In bedrooms, it becomes a cocoon, bringing together cosiness and nostalgic warmth in equal measure. Whether used in full expression or as an accent, Terra elevates any space it touches. Asian Paints’ Terra is a celebration of colours that are rooted, of choices that are mindful, of a culture that honours warmth, nature and authenticity. In every brushstroke of Terra lies a sense of belonging – a return to the familiar, the cherished and the enduring. It’s a colour that doesn’t just follow a design style, but defines it. Whether you’re drawn to its warmth for the way it cradles a space, or its connection to nature and nostalgia, Terra offers both style and soul. Because the most timeless stories are told in tones of Terra. The world of living spaces is evolving, Asian Paints is at the forefront of this transformation. With more than 80 years of innovation, and presence in over 60 countries across the world, Asian Paints brings global craftsmanship to home décor, offering premium designer finishes that redefine spaces with elegance and innovation.
