As part of its ‘Fall for Fashion’ campaign, City Centre Bahrain planned an exclusive twoday make-up workshop by the professionals of Maison de Joelle. The make-up workshops featured a variety of products and techniques to help bring out the best in each woman, enhancing their beautiful features. Customers received certificates of participation and complimentary gifts and vouchers offered by participating mall retailers. “Underscoring City Centre Bahrain’s role as the country’s leading destination for the latest looks and trends, we believe that by inviting one of the region’s most celebrated beauty icons, we enhanced the community interest and tied in with the theme of fashion,” says Duaij al Rumaihi, senior mall manager of City Centre Bahrain. Check below an interview with Joelle Mardinian, CEO of Maison de Joelle. What is Maison de Joelle? Established in Dubai seven years ago as a single beauty centre, today Maison de Joelle is a chain of nine salons across the region. It is a celebrity salon and a leading beauty house in the Middle East that offers a variety of treatments incorporating all services for hair, make-up and nails. It also offers body and facial treatments and specialises in bridal makeovers for a natural result. What is the differential of your salon? We give the same importance to the quality of the products that we give to the method of the treatments. The salon is featured weekly on MBC1 in a reality show called Joelle where I take the viewers on a personal insight of all aspects of the salon. The show also highlights our clients’ transformations, incorporating all the services and products we offer, which emphasise on skin protection and natural beauty for all skin types. showcase Joelle Mardinian, CEO of Maison de Joelle describes her experience during 'Fall for Fashion' beauty workshops at City Centre Bahrain. How do you feel being part of City Centre Bahrain’s ‘Fall for Fashion’ campaign this year? Being part of the second edition of the ‘Fall for Fashion’ event is very exciting for me. As a trained make-up artist, I like to share all that I can, from tips on applying make-up during the high temperatures in the Middle East summer to which products are suited for each skin type. As part of the programme for this year’s event, my team and I visited the mall and its retail outlets, giving special attention to those within our industry, which was very interesting. What do you hope visitors took away from the Maison de Joelle beauty workshops? We hope that those who participated in the workshops are now able to understand and appreciate the thought process that goes behind what you put on your face and why. The Maison de Joelle team really enjoyed sharing our product knowledge with the ladies in Bahrain, as well as exploring their beauty.
