Kindness, motivation and the desire to grow are very important to me. We provide ongoing training and quality control, so we can improve together. Leadership to me is ensuring the women around me feel supported, capable and empowered. What are the challenges you face as a founder? “Running a beauty business has many moving parts — keeping up with trends, maintaining high standards across all branches, managing rising costs and finding the right products and staff. We must respond quickly to clients, ensure a smooth experience and analyse the market to stay on top. How do you balance building a business and family life? Balancing family and business isn’t easy, but my husband is my biggest supporter. His belief in me fuels the courage to grow M&M Beauty Lounge. Even with a big age difference, our minds align and we always work as a team. I’m lucky to have a partner in both life and business. How did your journey in beauty begin? My journey in the beauty industry began in 2017 with encouragement from my family. They motivated me to study and open my own salon one day and that’s where it all started. In the beginning, I worked as a beautician to gain experience and learn every detail. That knowledge still helps me today, from understanding the technical side of beauty work to recognising true skill in new employees. This journey has taught me to communicate, to listen and to lead with care. I’m growing as a person alongside my business and I’m grateful for it. What makes M&M Beauty Lounge a brand women trust? We have convenient locations and highly skilled specialists working in Russian techniques, along with a warm, welcoming team. We pay great attention to our clients’ experience. After every visit, we ask for feedback, listen carefully and act quickly. How do you maintain excellence across every branch? We focus exclusively on Russian techniques for nails, lashes and brows. We’ve built a strong system over five years to ensure consistent results. New team members go through a clear, step-by-step onboarding process so every client receives the same high standards, no matter where they go. Additionally, we are committed to understanding our clients through feedback. We know which colours they prefer and which lash volumes and curls are most popular and we make sure we always have what they love.” What’s next for M&M Beauty Lounge? M&M Beauty Lounge has grown thanks to our commitment to quality and client experience. We’re just getting started. Our dream is to expand across the GCC. We’re excited to be opening our third branch in West Riffa. We can’t wait to welcome our happy future customers there. Finally, what message would you share with women pursuing their ambitions? Don’t be afraid to make mistakes. Things won’t always go to plan, but that’s how you learn and grow. Always trust yourself — even if there are thousands of salons, no one else will be you.
