There’s something incredibly empowering in seeing her picture holding a banner as a Bahraini woman for breast cancer support, standing proud in the Arctic. For most Middle Eastern women, the possibilities in life are quite limited. What Amal did is quite unimaginable and I congratulate her for reaching to the top, quite literally. Adverse circumstances can either bring out the best or the worst in a person and Amal channelled the loss of her loved ones in an amazing way – all at the tender age of 23, when most people are still ‘figuring out life’. Dreamworks This article was a fun and informative trip into the dream world. Behnaz Sanjana’s account of what goes on in our minds after we snooze away is quite insightful and shows that we might think we are resting but the mind is still at work. I wasn’t aware of the fact that we forget 90 per cent of it after just 10 minutes of waking up. I am seriously doubting what I remember from or think I saw in certain dreams I’ve had. Camilla. The Trend Setter I am always excited to see the fashion pages of the magazine every month and in the October issue, with the autumn and winter report, you have really outdone yourselves. This is perhaps the most comprehensive style guidebook ever with everything mentioned and laid out so clearly. I read a lot of fashion magazines, but even some of the biggest international ones leave you utterly confused.
