School’s Not Out For Summer July 4-29 British School of Bahrain The BSB Summer School and Sports Camp (July 11-22) is the ideal summer solution for those wanting to have fun and to learn at the same time. The school offers an English 'total immersion' experience, whereby the learning process is not just restricted to the classroom. Daily sessions run from 9am to 4pm, Monday to Friday. Pupils can join in one- to four-week learning activity programmes which include fencing, climbing wall, zip wire, football, tennis, swimming lessons, cookery, art, music and more. Summer Art Classes July 10 (ongoing) Touch of Art Touch of Art offers 16-hour art courses categorised into three groups - beginners, intermediate and advanced - taught by experienced teacher and professional artist, Mohammed Taha. Languages and Fun July 10-August 30 Bodyline and Berlitz Budaiya Berlitz Bahrain Summer Camp caters to youngsters aged five to 15 offering a range of activities including taekwondo, art, cooking and languages. For teenagers there are also entrepreneurial sessions and brainstorming taking advantage of the general interest in social media and gadgets. Multi Sports Activities July 10-July 27 JC’s Tennis Academy The JC's Multi Sports Summer Camp, offers weekly sessions of four-day camps, six hours per day. High-energy instruction combines tennis, swimming, fitness and football skills for age groups eight to 12. Progressive skill development is across the four performance factors: mental, tactical, physical and technical guaranteeing great fun and maximising improvement. Dance & Creative Camp July 17 (six weeks) Bahrain Ballet Centre Kids aged five to 10 can join in creative and fitness dance, accessory and costume design, singing and group choir, sketching, team building games and storytelling. There will also be surprise guest speakers. Youngsters who complete the full six weeks will have the chance to showcase their achievements.
