Here’s an easy-to-cook recipe straight from the kitchen. Ingredients (two Servings) 250g chicken liver 30ml vegetable oil 100g white onion, julienne cut 50g red, green and yellow capsicum 2g chopped garlic 1g cumin powder 1g black pepper 3g chicken stock powder 10g fresh lemon juice Salt 10ml pomegranate syrup Lemon wedges Sumac powder Parsley, chopped Method: Rinse the chicken liver and pat dry with a kitchen towel. Follow up with cleaning, trimming and discarding any visible fat, green parts, or membranes. Set aside. In a large pan, warm two tablespoons of oil over medium heat and add the onions and capsicum. Cook until golden brown. Add the chicken liver and garlic, season with salt. Cook until browned, approximately two minutes per side. Add chicken stock powder, black pepper and cumin powder. Simmer gently until the meat is cooked through and top off with lemon juice and pomegranate syrup. Garnish with lemon wedge, sumac and chopped parsley.
