The growing popularity of this clinic has led to the establishment of a new state-of-the-art medical facility on Saar Avenue, near Alosra Supermarket. This clinic will use the latest technology for patient care, and yet retain the feel of a family-centred clinic that has all the facilities required for ambulatory care under one roof. It is expected to open by the end of September and will be easily accessible with ample parking. The centre will feature a dedicated children’s unit with facilities to observe youngsters for up to eight hours under the guidance of paediatricians and paediatric-trained nurses inhouse. There will also be an adult urgent care unit with eight bays to observe patients with common as well as life-threatening illnesses. All imperative support services such as radiology and laboratory facilities and specialisations including ENT, ophthalmology, orthopaedics and internal medicine will be available. There will be a separate section for women’s health and a much larger physiotherapy unit. Great thought has been put into the facility’s aesthetically-pleasing and energy-saving design. The management at AMH aims to make this a 24-hour service by the beginning of 2017. A brand new dental clinic also awaits.
