Start-ups can also take advantage of BDB’s Tamkeen Finance for a minimum amount of BD5,000 at a minimum rate of 4.27 per cent, where 50 per cent of the interest is subsidised by Tamkeen. The bank offers financial aid for agriculture and fisheries at zero per cent interest to be used for development in these respective sectors.
