Ahmed is perhaps better known in his other role as bassist and vocalist with popular local band Likwid, so it’s no surprise that this night is already getting lots of interest. Call 17 725-000. 2 THURSDAY Fashion in Focus The second edition of the Fashion Time Exhibition at Bahrain International Exhibition Centre is being run by First Target. It will include men’s, women’s and kids’ fashion, jewellery and accessories as well as a range of toiletries, cosmetics and healthcare products. This year, for the first time, the expo will also include a food section. And, as another first, there will be beauty and fashion shows featuring local designers. For info see www.ftbh.net. 2-4 THURSDAY- SATURDAY Fil Harmonics Launch A fiesta in line with the upcoming 118th Philippines Independence Day takes place at Adhari Park at which Fil Harmonics, a group of enthusiastic local Filipino musicians, will be debuting their sound. Running throughout the day from 10am there will also be a cultural show, recycled Filipina fashion show, bazaars, raffle prizes, food booths, live entertainment with performers including Hot Laser and the Last Cans, a dance crew and an artist coming from the Philippines.
