What was a moment during the ceremony that felt most meaningful to you? The most meaningful moment was hearing my name announced as the winner. After three decades in this profession, that recognition felt deeply rewarding and affirming. Were there any reactions from family, team, or community that surprised you? Yes, very much so. I was touched by how supportive people were, especially those who told me they had been expecting and anticipating the win. Seeing the shares across Instagram and social media, and knowing that so many people were watching the ceremony live, made the moment even more special. How has winning informed your priorities or plans since the awards night? Winning gave me renewed confidence in my work and my profession. It reinforced the feeling that my dedication over the past 30 years has been recognised and appreciated, which has been incredibly motivating. How will you use the prize, platform, or network that came with this award? I plan to use this platform to expand my network and continue growing my business. It will also support the upcoming launch of my book. I intend to prioritise participation in initiatives and events that support and uplift women. What concrete next steps or milestones are you committing to in the next 12 months? Over the next year, I will be launching my book, expanding my business, and delivering further training programmes for professionals within my field. What is one piece of advice you would give to young women looking up to you now that you have won? Continue doing what you love, always sharpen your skills, and never allow setbacks to stop you from moving forward. Consistency and self-belief are key.
