HILAL CONFERENCES AND EXHIBITIONS DESIGNED IN THE GCC GulfInteriors Exhibition 2017 will be a dedicated platform to promote the GCC’s homegrown interior brands, according to the event organisers Hilal Conferences and Exhibitions (HCE). Thee northern Gulf’s major annual event for luxury interiors, designs and furniture takes place from April 25-27 under the patronage of HRH Prince Khalifa Bin Salman Al Khalifa, Prime Minister of Bahrain. “The show will focus on the rapidly growing interiors industry in Bahrain by providing a B2B and B2C platform for architects, interior designers, manufacturers and dealers for their products and services originating in the GCC,” says Jubran Abdulrahman, managing director of HCE. Hempel Paints, Mobilia Uno, Fatima Alansari Design & Execution and Blue Zone are among those who have already signed up to take part. Hempel Paints, the strategic sponsor of gulfInteriors is a global brand with manufacturing facilities in Bahrain and Saudi Arabia. Mobilia Uno’s products, manufactured in Turkey, Italy, Portugal, China, Malaysia, Greece, India and Taiwan, are made to the designs of Mobilia Uno in Bahrain. Fatima Alansari Design & Execution is a team of talented designers and architects based in Bahrain. With their focus on both the commercial and private sectors, exhibitors will be showcasing a range of interiors options from individual home décor schemes to office, restaurant and retail space options, giving both businesses and consumers the chance to find out what’s new in the market with up-to-the-minute displays and sample statements. “Over the years we have seen an increasing number of the products coming to the exhibition under the mark ‘Made in the GCC’. The creative industry sector, which includes furnishings, materials and design, is a growing economic sector across the GCC. Excitingly, in Bahrain we are seeing a growing pool of creative talent in the interiors sector. We are committed to promoting homegrown talent at the gulfInteriors exhibition, where visitors will see local manufacturers and designers alongside international brands,” says Jubran Abdulrahman. GulfInteriors takes place alongside two other major exhibitions – Gulf Construction Expo and Gulf Property Show – continuing the success of the only integrated B2B and B2C platforms for the construction, interiors and property sectors in the northern Gulf.
