The growing popularity of the clinic has made the need for its expansion inevitable, so management has taken the step of moving to a state-of-the-art, family-centred facility not far away from its original location in Saar. The new clinic, scheduled to open by the end of November, is situated adjacent to Alosra supermarket and behind the mosque on Saar Avenue. It has all of the facilities required for ambulatory care under one roof, including ENT, ophthalmology, orthopaedics, internal medicine, radiology and laboratory facilities. With easy access and ample parking space, the facility has been designed to be aesthetically pleasing and energy saving. The building accommodates a dedicated children’s unit which enables paediatricians and nurses trained in paediatrics to observe young ones in need of medical attention for up to eight hours. It also features an urgent care unit for adults comprising eight bays to observe patients with common or life-threatening illnesses. There will be a separate section that will attend to women’s health issues and a large physiotherapy unit as well. By the beginning of 2017, the clinic will operate 24 hours.
