The Kingdom’s largest shopping centre has erected a winter village that you won’t want to miss. All are invited to feel the festive warmth at Bahrain City Centre this month. The shopping, dining and entertainment hot-spot has come alive this winter season with fun and interactive displays that will be in action until the last day of the year. Winter Wonderland features something for everyone, including the chance for all shoppers to win BD5,000 worth of sparkling diamonds. The Central Galleria has been transformed into a magical snow-covered village, giving all the chance to experience an authentic winter. Look out for the life-sized igloo, snow-capped trees and spot a host of fuzzy winter characters including a giant snowman, penguins and seals. Plus, during each weekend of the Winter Wonderland there will be roaming mascots for children to interact with. In front of T Spoon Café there is a giant gingerbread house bursting with children’s cookie-decorating workshops, which will be held every Friday in December from 3-6pm, for a nominal BD2 entry fee. All funds raised in this initiative will be donated towards the Palm Association, a local charity aimed at supporting Bahraini families in need. Incredible prizes Upon spending BD30 or more at any store during the Winter Wonderland campaign and redeeming your receipts at Customer Service, you will have the chance to win one of four diamond sets, worth BD5,000 in total. Diamonds will be displayed at Al Zain Jewellery, Level 1. The winner will be determined on January 2. Plus all shoppers who spend over BD50 or more will be gifted with a limited edition snow globe, providing a cute reminder of the snow-filled experience. Make sure you don’t miss the final chance to win; two trivia questions will be posted online each week with clues to be found at the Winter Wonderland display in the Central Galleria.
